巴勒斯坦伊斯蘭抵抗運動（哈馬斯）20日宣布任命哈利勒·哈亞為新任領(lǐng)導人。
聲明說，已選舉哈亞為哈馬斯政治局主席，接替此前身亡的葉海亞·辛瓦爾。
哈亞現(xiàn)年65歲，自2006年以來一直擔任哈馬斯內(nèi)部重要職務，是該組織現(xiàn)存為數(shù)不多的元老之一。哈亞是哈馬斯參與加沙停火談判的首席代表。
2024年10月，以色列說辛瓦爾在加沙地帶的以軍行動中死亡。哈馬斯隨后予以證實。
