畢業(yè)季來臨，寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)升學(xué)喜報頻傳。截至5月，已有來自寧諾三大學(xué)院的131位同學(xué)主動分享錄取結(jié)果，共收獲帝國理工學(xué)院、牛津大學(xué)、哈佛大學(xué)、劍橋大學(xué)、斯坦福大學(xué)、耶魯大學(xué)6所世界頂尖名校錄取通知書157份。

值得關(guān)注的是，2025年寧諾成為國內(nèi)第一所獲推免資格的高水平中外合作大學(xué)，目前已有學(xué)子成功斬獲中國科學(xué)院大學(xué)、中山大學(xué)、上海交通大學(xué)、同濟(jì)大學(xué)等多所“雙一流”高校推免錄取，形成“海外升學(xué)+國內(nèi)推免”雙軌并行、多元并進(jìn)的升學(xué)新格局。

UNNC students secure offers from Oxbridge, Harvard and Yale alongside top domestic postgraduate admissions

As the 2026 graduation season approaches, students at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) are achieving exceptional success in postgraduate applications both internationally and within China. By mid-May, 131 students from across the University’s three faculties had received 157 offers from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including Imperial College London, the University of Oxford, Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, Stanford University and Yale University.

At the same time, following UNNC’s historic approval in 2025 as the first high-level Sino-foreign cooperative university in China to gain eligibility for postgraduate recommendation admissions, students have also secured recommendation-based offers from leading Double First-Class universities such as the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University,Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University. Together, these achievements highlight the emergence of a distinctive dual-track progression pathway at UNNC, combining world-class international opportunities with top domestic postgraduate routes.

Students’ postgraduate destinations span a range of globally significant and future-focused disciplines, including artificial intelligence, robotics and intelligent systems, energy transition materials, environmental health, data science and digital creative industries. Their success reflects not only academic excellence, but also strong interdisciplinary capabilities and an international outlook nurtured through UNNC’s global education model.

The achievements also demonstrate the strength of UNNC’s research-led and internationally connected learning environment. More than 60% of the University’s academic staff are recruited internationally, while one in seven research-active academics is recognised among the “World’s Top 2% Scientists”. Undergraduate students benefit from early access to research opportunities, international collaborations and high-level academic mentorship.

UNNC maintains partnerships with nearly 170 universities across more than 40 countries and regions, alongside collaborations with over 4,000 enterprises, institutions and research organisations worldwide, providing students with extensive opportunities for global exchange, research and professional practice.

UNNC’s educational impact continues to receive national recognition. In the 2026 ShanghaiRanking Chinese University Ranking, the University achieved full marks for its “undergraduate value-added” indicator for the sixth consecutive year, retaining first place nationwide. According to the University’s 2024/25 Annual Careers and Employability Report, nearly half of graduates pursuing further study progressed to the world’s top ten universities, while 98% received offers from institutions ranked among the global top 100. In the University of Cambridge’s 2024/25 postgraduate admissions cycle, UNNC ranked first among Chinese mainland universities for the number of students admitted, and 31st globally.
