7月13日，伊朗武裝部隊哈塔姆安比亞中央司令部發言人表示，美國一再采取冒險主義和敵對行動并干涉霍爾木茲海峽的管理，這嚴重危及地區安全、國際貿易以及油輪和商船的通行，伊朗絕對不會允許美國干涉霍爾木茲海峽的管理。
