7月25日，中南大學研究生院發(fā)布情況通報：
近日我校收到相關舉報，反映商學院2002屆同等學力碩士費某某學位論文涉嫌抄襲。
學校已成立調查組，進行全面核查工作。學校始終嚴守學術底線、維護學術規(guī)范，對學術不端行為絕不姑息。
Central South University's Graduate School in Hunan province announced on Saturday that it has launched an investigation into a 2002 master's thesis submitted by a graduate surnamed Fei after receiving allegations of plagiarism.
In a brief statement, the university said it has formed a review panel to conduct a full investigation. It reiterated its commitment to upholding academic integrity, adding that it "will not tolerate academic misconduct".
據澎湃新聞此前報道，有網友反映，中南大學商學院管理科學與工程專業(yè)費某某2002年碩士學位論文與《北京市經濟管理干部學院學報》2001年刊發(fā)的另一論文，有13頁文字大面積雷同，疑似存在抄襲。
The investigation follows an online allegation that Fei's thesis, submitted to the university's business school, contains approximately 13 pages that closely resemble a paper published in 2001 in the Journal of Beijing Institute of Economics and Management. According to the complaint, the similarities are substantial, prompting the university to launch the investigation.
7月24日，中南大學研究生學術不端舉報電話值班工作人員表示，根據學校相關規(guī)定，上述學位論文學術不端的舉報將由學校商學院具體受理。
