7月25日晚，電影《三國第一部：爭洛陽》官方賬號發文宣布：“為不負千人團隊三年的傾力創作，為了讓更多想看《三國第一部：爭洛陽》的觀眾能夠有機會看到電影，我們慎重決定暫時結束本輪公映，另擇檔期與大家相見。”
片方稱，電影上映后獲得很多觀眾好評，但“此時的市場空間，已經遠遠不足以讓想看這部作品的觀眾從容地走進影院”，并表示“感恩關注，靜待下一次相逢”。
On Saturday evening, the animated film Three Kingdoms: The Beginning announced on social media that it would temporarily suspend its theatrical run while seeking a new release date. In a statement, the production team said, "To honor the three years of dedication by our thousand-member team and give more moviegoers the opportunity to see the film, we have decided to temporarily suspend its current theatrical release."
該片上映16天，累計票房8145.6萬，豆瓣評分8.1。
The film had been in theaters for 16 days, grossing 81.46 million yuan and earning an 8.1 rating on the Chinese review platform Douban.

據央視新聞，《三國第一部：爭洛陽》是追光動畫“三國”系列的開篇之作，由《長安三萬里》原班人馬打造。
故事將鏡頭對準東漢末年三國故事起點，以爭洛陽為敘事切口，展開漢末權謀交鋒與群雄抉擇，再現驚心動魄的亂世風云。在恢弘東方美學風格中，為觀眾呈現一部兼具厚重歷史質感與英雄氣概的三國開篇史詩。
The first installment in Light Chaser Animation's Three Kingdoms series, the film was created by the same team behind the acclaimed Chang'an. Set at the dawn of the Three Kingdoms (220-280) era, it centers on the struggle for control of Luoyang, telling a story of political intrigue and pivotal choices against the backdrop of the Eastern Han dynasty's (25-220) final years.
The film combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with epic storytelling, balancing historical authenticity with heroic themes.
電影制片人宋依依介紹說，在創作過程中參考了很多資料，反復打磨細節，力求呈現漢代洛陽的風貌與時代氣質，讓觀眾可以身臨其境感受強漢落幕、亂世爭雄的磅礴張力。
Producer Song Yiyi said the team conducted extensive historical research and paid close attention to detail in recreating the atmosphere of Han-era Luoyang. "We wanted audiences to feel the epic tension of an empire in decline and the rise of new powers," she said.
“這不止是一部動畫電影，更是我們想長期深耕、逐步完整呈現的‘三國系列’。”影片監制于洲介紹說，一朝風起洛城，群雄奔赴山河，屬于三國真正的序章，即將徐徐展開。
